Originally from Alliance Ohio, I moved west to San Francisco in the late nineties. I was fortunate to be in the bay area for the rise of tech. I began the journey into design as an intern at Shutterfly and a few short years later was employee number ten at Homegain.com and teaching design at the Fashion Institute.

I was accepted to the MFA program at CCA in 2002 and began freelancing after doing some traveling following graduation. I am now in the final seven months of the MS user experience design program at Kent State University and serving as board member and Web Chair with the local chapter of the AIGA.
